I dunno. The whole import industry has hit it hard because of the recession, so nobody is really keeping anything in stock anymore. I make a point in calling to check on availability before I purchase something online or even through Scott.

Even back in the day HC+ pads weren't easy to find...

I'm sure Cosworth can build to order, but I don't even want to know what the lead time is...

That is correct, production was stopped shortly to make some design revisions.
Now that its been revised, they will be more accessable but then maybe not because of the economy. who knows? I would still love to have one in satin finish.

Unless you know someone that had done exactly what you are going, there is no real way to know if you need a tune or not. I'd GUESS since this replaces the upper and lower sections and because this unit is supposed to flow better, a tune could be in order. You could "probably" get away with driving it around as long as you don't get into the open loop portions of your tune.
If you have a UTEC or similar, can't you datalog after the install to verify if you need a tune? Even someone with a Cipher (if you are 05+ w/ widebands) should be able to do some datalogging for you
