But at least it doesn't look like Sam/GTM was trying to screw r0mey. Julian however did.

I want to thank all our customers and supporters. I know it is very difficult to hear these things of the shop that built your car/engine, a company that you believed in. We appreciate all the support and we will be here if you need us. This has been a bad situation but a lot has been learned from it. It will only make us better. Just want you guys to know that you can always count on GTM.

What more can i say..i post up this thread with conclusive results that Vino's motor was improperly assembled, and this turns into a big old S storm. The multiple GTM head gasket failures from multiple shops must all be all imagined? So a quality control issue on several GTM engines, get reversed to fall upon the little guy once again..What more can i say? Sam is always right, he always will be, thats the bottom line....

Im a hot head, and let my emotions get the best of me all the time...I guess I need to learn how to play the game better. Im tapping out, I have no more energy or motivation to continue in this industry at this point...I argued my case with some valid facts and points, and as usual my personality get brought up, and my emotions get the best of me.

We will do our best to get our customer back up and running, but i can assure you we will be taking on no new business..I have been contemplating closing the shop for a while now..And this last stand honestly seals the deal for me. I hate this industry, I hate the people in it, it is no longer is even fun for me.. When the passion is gone and you have exhausted you last bit of energy and made enemies all over, where do you have left to go..

NEW FLASH: Sam Wins...Im tapping out..
MRC MOTORSPORTS LLC will cease to operate as of 12/1/2008. Its been fun, but we have other issues at hand internally and personally as well as business related...

Peace out and thanks to all the supporters..

And Sam,

If we ever meet again, we will have a nice man to man talk about our personal felling towards one another...I never trusted you, you badmouthed everyone to me, Jermey, Shariff, injected, EVERYONE..Your a cocky sumbitch..Good luck in life..

My post from my350z to give Julian and others some perspective:

Agreed. I think GTM has some quality control issues with their motors that they are not willing to admit and it has become obvious that the problem extends beyond MRC's doorstep. And I have issues with George (a non-employee who is in fact a friend & customer who hangs out at the shop) posting in a formal capacity portraying himself as an expert and authority. I think the admins should seriously reconsider George's status as a sponsor.

However, it now appears that GTM wasn't trying to screw r0mey. Look how Julian threw r0mey (a loyal friend and customer who went to bat for MRC countless times on my350z) under the bus. Why in the hell wouldn't Julian have checked for a fuel and/or spark problem before pulling the motor and starting this drama with GTM??? It looks like Julian betrayed his friend r0mey just to win a battle against GTM. It's absolutely shameful and disgusting.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

That means you're going to resolve r0mey and Vino's issues first, right?

While Sam may not fully admit things like a lack of quality control on certain motors, atleast he mans up enough to fix issues, even when they're not solely his fault. Julian on the other hand has thrown r0mey under the bus and name dropped him at every possible chance from the start (and I don't mean the start of this thread). I also found it highly ironic that Julian says that r0mey never listens to him... when it was r0mey who would always get Julian out of trouble on my350, but Julian would never listen and go on with his head strong ways, then get in more trouble, name drop r0mey, then not listen to r0mey's advice... ect...

All in all, maybe this won't change Julian's outlook on anything, but simple changes in attitude and integrity way before this incident would have made it so much easier for everyone, especially Julian.

^ Shouldn't this be plural? Please clarify/specify that you will still take care of both r0mey and Vino before you close your shop down.

Yep. Julian ended up getting permabanned from my350z because he wouldn't listen to r0mey's behind the scenes advice. I kept my fingers off the keyboard and restrained myself on my350z from ever posting negatively towards Julian because he is a fellow officer. But no longer. r0mey was damned good to Julian and didn't deserve this BS.

I'm pretty sure it's far from over - there are still quite a few people that don't have properly running cars - after all that is the important thing.

Sam, you got that voicemail saved? I heard Julian is a cop? You and I both know cops can get fired VERY easily, especially if they are threatening people for personal reasons. Maybe you need to forward that message to someone if you think the threat is serious enough.
