The Stillen kit is perfect for a DD. I know everyone bashes because it doesn't put out the #s like other FI kits, but for that reason it's extremely reliable and easy on your engine. I've had mine for 13,000 miles now with zero issues. My gas miliage is exactly the same (as long as i keep my foot out of the gas, lol) and it has enough extra HP for me without damaging the stock engine.
If you decide to go this route, go directly to stage 4. I bought mine in stages and probably spent a couple grand extra that way.

I would go with the vortec or a single turbo. something like an sts setup with super low intake and under hood temps and if most of your miles are daily driving/highway miles your motor wont even be seeing boost that often. AND you will be putting down significantly more whp and ALOT more torque than with a supercharger.

Stillen supercharger is probably the most reliable, as said before just jump straight to stage 4 to save you some dollars. If you are automatic deffinately go supercharger, it has a more linear curve so it will be easier on your tranny. Belts are the only problems, i hear their not too expensive though.

i would never do a SC on a daily driver. Way too much mechanical things to go wrongs and too many belts ready to flail all over your engine bay. Not to mention the constant parasitic loss by having to drive the blower all the time.
I'd go with a single turbo. turbonetics is perfect for stock block goals. the only people that hate on it are tryin to push it past its designed capabilities.
That would be my suggestion, having a SC myself, and its def not my daily driver.
