Cosworth is yummy. The shortblock pricing is semi high, but starting with a fresh block, crank and all assembled by a company like Cosworth makes me feel better when running it hard.
I'm coming up on 10k miles on the new motor and everything has been great so far. No oil leaks, no coolant leaks, no real blow by in the manifold either when I pulled it off recently.

^ Thanks everyone!!
Quick update. Just picked up the Carbonetics Clutch yesterday. At the last minute we decided to upgrade from double to tripple plate (to be safe). Called Cosworth afterwards to go and pck up my plenum...and unfortunately it is STILL NOT READY!!! Grrrrrrrrrrr!! They said Mon or Tues next week. Their reason for the delay...delay in manufacturing process...again. The good news is Cosworth did commit to it being ready on Tuesday at the latest.
Going to go pick up my timing and cam covers today as well. We were going to go with powder coated black, but at the last minute we decided to do polished.
More pics will be up later today.

Carbonetics is confusing, too many options. Hopefully it holds without needing to be heated up too much.
This is where we usually get the more intricate stuff polished. http://www.kaleidoscopepolishing.com/
I haven't seen any better polished timing covers. Many look nice in pics on the forum, but up close you can see not enough die grinding and not enough tools available to the polisher for the tight areas. Plenums and other pieces are easy compared to tight areas of the timing cover.

^ Rookie I am not worried about the clutch. We got the one for street use. Very good driveability and no warm up required for everyday driving.
To late on the polish work...My buddy took them to Magmasters in Santa Ana. I do not have pics yet but they look like mirrors. Very good work as well in the tight areas of the timing cover as well. Very satisfied with their work.
