So all the guys that have done big horsepower builds say it can't be done based on experience. The guy that has an intake plenum spacer says it can be done. Untill someone dose it for under under 20K I will side with the guys that have experience.

Yup, happens often...but I have no problem with you guys being "right" and me being "wrong"...it's not my money.

Regardless...if anyone wants me to "prove" it...then just sent me $20K and I'll do it. If not, then I can't prove it because I don't have the cash. If that's what it takes for you guys to open your mind a little...then all I can say is you win I guess.
Why don't you open a credit card and send it to me. I can make that happen if you let me buy used stuff. ( but not guranteed it will realiable.) And you gotta stop throw roll eyes, i really want to pull that eye *****.

Go back and read my posts. I didn't say you "can't" run 11.5:1 compression with a FI motor and get 500whp, I said that I didn't understand why you would want to do so... IMO, the safety margin you are sacrificing is not worth the little bit of extra torque you will get in the low rpm range. Nonetheless, please proceed with your build. I'm curious to how it turns out.

I don't think high compression = blow engine, i would say it is ok. If i'm going to spend money on build, i would go low compression build, so that can hold more boost and for future. If engine build correctly with good tune/good support mods, i would say it will be fine even with high compression/boost.

But honestly, i have no experience with build motor, that's just my " thought". i would let "pro" to answer your question
