My LS2/350z---PT88 single turbo build.
I dunno how much they weigh but alls I know is my car WITH the turbo kit and no AC is 3280lbs +/- 20lbs(scale offset) full interior stock wheels with a full tank of gas. Last year without the turbo kit it was exactly 3100lbs +/- 20lbs. Not only is the car lighter but the engine sits lower and farther back....it handles excellent and is DEF. lighter than a turbo VQ 350z.
It honestly all depends...you are looking at anywhere from 10-25k. 10k will get you an all motor monster(I went 11.3@129 on a cam only/75 shot) I know Hinson charges around 6k for the all motor swap so id prolly do it for around half..that includes tuning. It would take me about 2 weeks to do a full swap if I had all the parts.
Yeah thats the basic engine swap. These engines in stock form will handle 550 no problem. The 10k doesnt include selling your old stuff though. Its 10k for parts alone(swap parts, engine, electronics)
Cuz they banned me because I post whored about how much the power lab kit sucks...Intense told me the kit didn't fit out of "installer error" and that I didn't know what I was doing...what do you guys think? Its funny..I cant get a pre-made turbo kit with a 3" downpipe to fit an OEM without bad rattling and banging around engine but I can make a corvette engine fit with a an 88mm turbo/4" full downpipe to fit without a single rattle or issue...and I can even get an air filter on my turbo whereas that wasn't an option on the 37r PL kit. hrmmmmm
