which mufflers did you actually use (part #'s)?

 

14163 is the part number for the one im keeping. The other one is just too big.

 

hmm no way to back the muffler in there and use a tip? wont have such a huge can look then

how much did that reduce the noise? I have to drive with earplugs right now and need a muffler setup ASAP

 

It cut the idle and drive around noise in half seriously. I wasn't expecting it to be this quiet...it sounds great. I painted it flat black today and you can barely see it when you are behind me.

 

It sounds louder than it really is..on the inside of the car its extremely quiet compared to last year.

 

I hate your setup!!!... in a good/jealousy way lol... how far are you from danbury ct?

cut dB in 1/2 with just the 6" can and no resonator? very cool!

 

you should keep the exhaust quiet.. and then let the wastegate do the screaming when they open! =). My single turbo is so quiet, quieter than stock.. but it screams when in boost.

 

Im very surprised at how much quieter(Its still fn loud)the car got. It went from sounding like an old hill billy pickup truck to an actual corvette. Before, while in boost I couldn't hear the open wastegates just a whole mess of loud noises...now you can hear them very clear...along with the radio. The only slight drawback is the fuel pump gets very annoying now...which should be expected from a large external pump sitting right under the drive seat.

 

Sounding sick, car is a MONSTER.. I wish you had done a different black color/muffler though..

Something meaner/cleaner looking Its awesome anyways!
