Actually, I kinda liked the wheels...they give an appropriate hint of the musclecar underneath.

Also, tell us about the yellow GTO with the IC...

Very impressive......

About the wheels....I agree with the Mustang comment...but if they are light....keep them

I ended up going enkie RPF1 18x10+38 in the rear(im gonna run a 305/35/18 drag radial and space the wheels as far out as I can to get a +0 camber and no rubbing--for traction. And an 18x8.5 up front with a 255/45/18

lol well its about to get a little better. Finally found a tach solution thanks to another member. I had actually originally planned to do the same thing he ended up doing but I wasn't sure if it would work. He took all the guess work out of it for me.

Also, the car is getting a custom built to my specs, legal, 6 point chromoly roll cage this weekend. Im pretty excited about that. I plan on leaving the stock seats in for the sleeper effect and the cage will of course be flat black. The only thing that might show through is the X brace across the back window if i choose to do it.

I ended up returning the front rpf1 8.5" for 9" because the face of the wheels were different than the backs and the only ones that matched were the 9" wheels. So im doing 295/265 split. With all the suspension im doing over the winter the car should handle like an absolute monster once its back on the road in April.

On a side note..I can't exactly spill the beans but if anyone gets Modified magazine..February might be a cool month to check out. =P

Yes. And 325/45/17 drag radials with the same rims in 17x10 for the track.
