Anybody Know??

Im gonna call stillen tomorrow but I was just curious if anybody here knows. Im looking at buying a stillen stage 2 supercharger kit used. It came of an 04 standard trans. I wanna put it on an 05 at. both coupes. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Well Stillen is the weakest of all FI systems for our cars if you want to make power over 320whp you are better going with a different system. It would suck to have to have to cut your hood up as well. As far as AT to MT they physically shouldn't be any different.

The programming in the fmu is just a little different but i dont see any problems....but it is a lame a$$ kit...i should know.

so the kit is no so bueno? that sucks... Just doesnt make enough power or whats the issue? btw I call stillen today and they shot me a quote at like 700 bones to make it work on my car.

Stillen setup just does not make that much power, and is not really worth the $ IMO. If you supercharge you are probably better off with Vortech or HKS.

HKS has a nice sale price for their complete kit now! They dropped the price 4 grand this summer down to 4500 I think for the full kit.

You may be able to find one slightly used even cheaper!

Way to much money for the power you get.

The other issues with stillen are stock hood needs to be modified, no choice of intake manifolds, problems with jackshaft bearings (I know vortech also have thier issues with jackshaft )
