I should post a photo- there was a unique shape to the pistons we chose. I don’t recall the brand off the top of my head but they were reasonably high end. Their design included a narrow spot- and it was cracked there in each piston.

Worth mentioning newer designs resolved this- you don’t see that configuration anymore (at least not that I’ve seen).

One thing I liked about this new shop- they acknowledged the tune was actually pretty good- it had a few little issues but 3 shops were involved since and everyone seemed pretty content with the base tune.

I’m always a little relieved when a shop doesn’t prop itself up by making the others look terrible.
