Are you two running t-trim blowers? Any lower on my pulley and it would be spinning too fast.

You need to check out oldmanz350. He has a stock Vortech that produces 16+boost and thats with overspinning his blower but he also runs 100 octane

nice numbers..ive heard that dyno reads a little happy but who knows, numbers are numbers but nonetheless still nice ones..i had mine up around the 450whp mark for a few dyno pulls but kept it more conservative at 420whp stock internals..this was on a dynojet..lasted for 30k miles till i parted it out and sold it still running strong..most of the time the tune is the key to holding up imo..
also i did this all on the 3.12 pulley only at 9.5psi max on a non rev-up.. i should have kept the car and went to the 2.87 and see what i could really do at the track

The supercharger is much safer, no chance of overboosting etc. But to get more out of the blower I would have had to overspin it, and I didnt want to take the chance of damaging the blower. I could have gone with a T-trim blower but thats another couple thousand dollars. The turbo is just easier to make more power with plain and simple, but anyone who is not power hungry and would be happy with 400 whp reliably, the s/c is a great setup.
Hills DD is corrected to what the Dynojet next door at Charm City Tuning reads, so the numbers would have been the same on a DynoJet. And I was the same way, had the car at 420whp for a while without issues on the 3.12 pulley. I got bored and turned up the boost and now im like a mad scientist that wont stop

I ran 589whp and 609ftlbs on my stock internals for a year with no issues, red35 has been running 505whp on his stock internals for a couple years. Both of us have over done fuel and cooling systems. In my opinion that and tuning has a lot to do with it. It may go but if your prepared for that have fun with it, at 589whp every time I went WOT I was fully expecting a BOOM. I was racing a an SRT4 and one of my inner fenders came off...I thought for sure I put a window in the block.
Could you please elaborate on your "over done fuel and cooling system"?
Also curious as to how many miles were on your motor at the time?
