My APS TT G35
Hey! Congrats on the self-install. i'm considering doing it myself as well... with some help from friends. today we were doing some work under a 350z and noticed how tight it was around the exhaust manifolds. wondering how did u get around all the stuff? and if u had any pointers?
Everything fits! Don't be afraid to do it yourself, it's so rewarding when you get it going and it works. Don't have any real pointers, just follow the install manual to the letter and you should be good. Make sure sure you have lots of tools, especially metric.
They were easy to get out, perhaps 20 minutes on each side. I think the hardest part was mounting the LHS turbo (about 5 hours on my first try). Some of those nuts are really hard to do. The LHS compressor pipe (the one that goes to the intercooler)was also something my first time around (probably one hour lost there). Fuel pump wasn't easy.
All in all, it wasn't an easy project, but I'd do it again if I had to. BTW, I had never done this before (I'm an IT guy).

Yes, I dynoed it, but I have to go back. The guy didn't load the dyno properly and the car only boosted a maximum of 6.9psi. I had it retuned since then too. That time, it was only pulling 342whp (Mustang Dyno). I'm sure I would see at least 375whp now at 8psi... Remember, stock exhaust...
