It really depends on the company holding the group buy. I have seen as low as $4500 for the G kit on group buy so far
Boost gauge (Autometer full sweep): $~150
Wideband (Innovative)$375 OR EGT (Autometer Full Sweep) ~$260

Why does it seem like we have a lot of members that own $35k-$40k cars but want to go as cheap as possible to run boost on a car that isn't made for it?

I am not an FI guy and I never have been. I bought a TN ST kit and can't wait to put it on. By using the search button and reading most of the threads in this forum I've learned enough to know that FI costs money. Quit trying to save $50, save up $8k-$12k, and do it right.

Otherwise keep taking those shortcuts and get yourself a nice APC windshield banner to go with the gauges you bought at Pep Boys.

+1, if ur not ready to drop 8k on it, then look into getting something else. cause when going FI, u CANNOT go the cheap route.

What you want your car to be..

Cheap
Fast
Reliable

..Pick two of the above and the one left over is what it will NOT be.

Been reading a bit on My350 and it seems as if Sharif@forgedinternals is the man on the East Coast for the Turbonetics install. So i came up with a plan...

- Drive to Sharif's shop (NC i think)
- Buy a Turbonetics kit from him (with allllll the trimmings)
- Hang out for a day or two and check everything out
- Fly back to Philly - wait a week or so (calling everyday for updates)
- Fly back to NC
- Go check out the car, drive it, and make sure things are cool
- Drive my newly Turbo-ed beast up I95 with a HUGE smile on my face.

Cost: Better part of $10,000.00
Seeing the look on my Dads face when i smoke his C6 Vette: PRICELESS

Will you have to cut up your Evo Exhaust? It's a true dual right?

I wish they were doing mine also but it looks like I'll be looking for an installer in Hawaii. I'm not mad about moving to Hawaii. Just mad that they've moved the release date back about 2 months.

What do you guys think about Gman2004's PE radiator setup?

https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...light=radiator

I'm thinking of going this route to increase cooling for my future kit.

If at all possible, try and get the kit installed/tuned on the mainland. Everything is highly inflated and the selection of shops here is relatively weak. just a fyi.
p.s. there are some very capable shops here. but from what i've seen and heard, some of the shops out there are fantastic when it comes to FI on the G.

The PE is probably the nicest, but too expensive. Just for a radiator? I'd rather get a Koyo and find/make some brackets to install it.
