Turbonetics Single Turbo kit - DONE RIGHT!

Ok, lets play a little game.

You have a 2004, stock(performance wise) G35 coupe 6mt and you want to add the Turbonetics Single turbo kit.

Pretend your spending someone elses money, and your gonna do it 100% perfect, the first time and get everything you need to have a killer motor! What do you get? (leaving internals stock!!!)

- Turbonetics Single Turbo Kit
- Professional Install + dyno tune
- Gauges for all the important stuff
- Injectors???
- Plugs???
- New front bumper for better air-flow???
- Engine management??? HKS, Greddy, Technosquare, others???
- Clutch + Flywheel?
- Cats???
- ...........?????

You get the idea...i just want to know how you all would "attack" this project to end up with a killer 8,9, or 10 psi motor running about 380-410hp on a stock block, capeable of being a daily driver.

- Turbonetics Single Turbo Kit YES
- Professional Install + dyno tune YES
- Gauges for all the important stuff YES
- Injectors??? YES 440's minimum
- Plugs??? YES 1 step colder iridium
- New front bumper for better air-flow??? YES
- Engine management??? HKS, Greddy, Technosquare, others??? HKS get huge reviews and Greddy gets slammed A LOT...you chose. Also, talk to other ST and TT guys...I'm just a SC guy.
- Clutch + Flywheel? If you are road racing it, yes, if you are dragging it, no.
- Cats??? YES the name of the game with St and TT is efficient air flow. High flow cats or test pipes and a free flowing exhaust is essential.

And yes, it's def capable of being a daily driver. I have 16,000 miles with my blown G, the car has 30,000 miles.

If you want to make some reliable power in the 400s on a stock block dyno tuned to your hearts desire and I'm spending someone elses money...How bout this:
Turbonetics Single Turbo kit
Gauges: boost,wideband,fuel pressure,oil temp
injectors: RC 440ccs or Turbonetics 510cc upgrade
Management: Emanage Ultimate
Plugs: NGK 1 step colder Iridiums
Bumper: My preference would be stock...not to mention you actually get LESS heat soak and BETTER cooling if you keep the fans on behind the stock bumper...plus its sleeper
Clutch and Flywheel: JWT Clutch, Jun Flywheel
Cats: HELL NO

Oh and since you are on the East Coast...maybe a roadtrip to NC for Sharif and CP to install and tune..

Why do you say hell no to the cats? They offer them with the kit. Did you find something negative in the testing? I've got a kit on order also.

If available, get a Tnetics tuner kit, upgrade injectors and using the Utec or Emanage Ultimate. Defi gauges ( Boost and EGT ), and Innovate wide-band gauge. I vote aftermarket bumper.

Don't forget a fuel return system... AAM is a good deal.

My setup is going to be...

Tnetics kit and everything that goes with it
Emanage Ultimate
AAM Fuel Return
Defi BF Gauges
AEM UEGO wideband
NGK 1stp colder Iridiums
Apexi Turbo Timer, SAFC2, AVCR
No need for cats, either way I don't think you are going to pass emissions in most, if not all states that care?

Installed at home and tune has been narrowed down between 2 places, one of them is CP Racing, and already have JWT clutch and flywheel, TS bumper. Hoping to sit around 9psi and have nearly 400rwhp, maybe more?

MIA, would the 510cc injectors work with a 5AT as well?

No I didn't find anything negative and I know they offer them. I say hell no because they cause backpressure. In a turbo car backpressure is your enemy. That and I hate the Ozone
