Procharger Problems.... already!
So, for the past few months I've been working on getting my ATI Procharger together. All the parts began to trickle in and I'd open the package and inspect them to be sure everything was in one peice or looked [as much as I could tell] still in one peice.
Week before it was due to install a friend of mine came over and set out all the peices and looked through everything. As much as we could tell everything was fine....except. A bearing was missing on one of the idler pulleys - no biggy, I'd just call ATI and have it overnighted so it would be in for sure by the weekend [it took 3 days]... also went ahead and overnighted my gauge pod [Grubbs] and some other things I didn't need but bought anyway cuzz I got destracted, lol. Those arrived ontime.
Finally the weekend arrived when the tech would be able to install the kit. I drove the car over - with no front bumper since I had sent mine back 4 hours away to get repainted. The install went smooth and great. He was prompt and did everything by the book, no problems. One of the rubber hoses that comes down from the blower itself was alittle kinked because of all the tight bends but he got it pretty much straightened out and for 7psi it wouldn't bother the air flow too much... nothing to worry about - the tuner said this also.
So, the next day I come by with another friend who has a trailor and we started it breifly to get it out of the garage and wenched it onto the trailor... and so it starts.
The tech told me that some of the stuff from the fuel pump was missing, there was a vaccuum leak because I was missing something else along with the power steering cooler relocation brackets. Again, no real big problem. It was Sunday and I needed the car by that Friday... tuner said OK.
Got the car over there, dropped it off and left. Monday at noon I called ATI and told them I was missing some fuel system crap and I would like to order everything shown in the entire diagram on page so-and-so in the manual. I was pretty much told I could do that - they don't really have a "fuel system package" that they could sell me... even though I wasn't asking for anything like that. I just wanted all the hoses, fittings, check valves, cross valves, etc show in the diagram to make sure the shop has every little peice they needed. I still told they couldn't do that. If you can look up each part individually why can't you just look them all up and send them to me? I ended up just getting what the tech had circled [ended up being what I needed - and hopefully nothing more... but this comes into play later].
Once again, I told ATI to overnight it. It arrived 4 days later. I had called after two days and the young girl on the phone said FedEX tried to deliver but the address was wrong... Wrong? I just ordered from you earlier last week... why was my address changed at all. Appearently my apt# had been deleted...even so... I live in APARTMENTS with their address and my door number. I would think they could leave it at the front office and they would know my name... I order things all the time and on a 1st name basis with the ladies at the front.
I called ATI back and tried to get a refund on my overnighting. No. Because the address was wrong anf it left their place when it should have they couldn't... ATI also said it looked like the packed was tried to delivered again and no one was home, or no one was there... again... it apartments people... there is ALWAYS someone at the front desk.
So I decide I will take off work on Friday and just drive the part 30min away to the tuner. I drop it off in the morning along with some other things and they said they will begin working on it. By now the GReddy eManage Ultimate was installed and they did all the fuel system stuff Friday around noon. The was ready to dyno and be tuned Friday but the guy who was actually tuning the car was busy with other promises he had made but called me at Midnight letting me know he was going to start messing with it but he needed to get a program on his computer for the EU. OK I said and I would check on it in the morning.
Trying to make this short now, 2PM rolls around and I drive over to check on the car since no one is answering the phones and I'm told the guy tuning my car is on his way over and it should be done today [actually today... the 14th.] I told them Sunday I needed it done by the 13th but I know because of ATI's shipping I got them the part the day of. I could understand...
Well here I am, and Im not driving my car. It won't start. Cranks, but no start. Tuner said he was getting signals from everything but asked about the injectors and what the stock cc was and if I was sure I put in 380cc. He saidhe'd keep working on it but that he was going out of town again and would back tomorrow, the 15th and start tuning it in the afternoon.
So far it seems like its all more trouble than its worth. ATI's customer service sucks first of all. I think only one guy us nice up there but I was only lucky enough to get to talk to him twice out of my many calls [I was so tempted to tell them, "Damnit, I should have gone with Vortech or HKS instead!"]. I didn't.
So maybe Monday the car will run... Who knows now. All I know is I am missing my plans I had for the car this weekend cause of all of this and I am set back and having to push back other appointments I had with people which makes them mad at me...
Mood = pretty pissed off.
I'm almost tempted to have a tow truck go pick the car up ad have the tuning done somewhere else... but I don't wanna get any other people involved that I will have to pay small amounts of money to for just letting the car sit in a shop and do one or two things to.

A great tuning place in southern california is Churches Automotive. The guy there really knows what he is doing and very reputable. I have the vortech on my sedan, that Churches tuned very well and safe at 10psi. My car took about 6-7 pulls on the dyno before we had the perfect tune. During the install I had many problems with the fuel system and intercooler piping trying to clear the fan.

I am sorry that you have had such a bad experience with ATI, I have one and have had no problems. I will admit that I have not been to fond of their Tech. Department but other than that, everything ok.
Like Draco, I have had no real problems with the unit. Two years, more than a dozen track days, 23,000 miles. I did strip a couple of belts when the pulleys wore down their teeth....and ATI replaced the full set of drive pulleys and sent a new belt....free. You really have to give them applause for that, and recognize the parts alone there were about $300.
I am now in the midst of a conversion to the new Jim Wolf prototype twin turbo, and doing a lot of other stuff to the car as well. I think I will put up a link in case you want to follow that thread over on FA.

I would definately check the fuel pump first. That was a brand new, never used, Walbro 255 and had never been installed. I have been told that Walbros are hit or miss off the shelve.
I wasn't aware that procharger included any fuel system stuff at all, since the Procharger doesn't address more fuel or timing.
Also, at what point did the car become undrivable? It sounds like after the initial procharger, fuel pump, and injector install the car drove, but wouldn't start after the EU install. Is this correct? If it is, it will definately help find your problem, as it will eliminate the fuel pump and injectors as a likely source of the problem. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you out.
