X FI Options?

Ok guys, I've been looking around this forum, and so far the only FI option for the X that I've come accross is the Stillen SC. Is this correct? Looking for some alternatives....Thanks.

I have a Vortech. You also might be able to fit a ST in there.

you can fit just about anything but tuning will be a problem. your best bet is to stay low on boost

Do you mean tuning to be a problem on the G's in general or for the X? What would make the tuning on the X any harder?

What setup are you running?

just the x version because it only comes in auto. it's very hard to dyno/tune awd auto vehicles. i have a stillen s/c stage 2.

i know xman has some kind of tuning solution on his car. talk to him if you plan to go a different route.

nitrous would be sick with the X's AWD system!!!

I would launch so much harder than any other FI setup out there.

I used to have a nitrous setup on a V8 AWD Explorer. It was awesome. that big heavy truck pulled 1.8 and 1.9 60 foot times at the track

Well, someone knows how to tune AWD AT, cause I've seen plenty at the track.

At any rate, can someone explain to me why the Stillen setup requires no tuning? At least that's what I've read in this forum. I know it uses the twin screw design, but I'm wondering how that eliminates the need for tuning. Is it because it isn't making the hp levels of the others?

The Stillen Stage 2 uses an extra injector to deliver the needed fuel under boost. As I understand it has a stand alone system that electronically regulates timing and A/F. Probably finds a happy medium for all VQ applications.

the stillen cant be tuned beyond the fmu,but if you really want to tune it without the stillen fmu, give mike at aam a call, they get rid of the 7th inj, install new injectors, fuel pump, utech(replaces stillen fmu),af meter etc.
