Superchargers for 2006 G35 6MT
Why is it that whenever i look for or research superchargers for the g35(ie. Stillen, Vortech), they are all for 2003-2005 models. Does that mean that i must wait until these companies produce an SC for the 2006 model?
Hopefully im not annoying anyone with my noob questions...heh

Dunno. I woud look into the APS twin turbo set up. A bit more but you get more ponies and don't have to change the hood. Supercharges are noisey too. Upgrade the clutch while they have the engine out for the APS set up. Hold on, it should run with a stock C6 Vett which is no slug considering it's STOCK.

But isnt it more complicated to add a APS TT since it would need extra modifications? I spoke to my local infiniti dealer and they said they would install a stillen stage 2 SC, i was hoping for a stage 3, or even better a vortech. But they said they only support (backup) stillen stage 2, that really sucks.

I definately wouldnt mind stillen stage 2; i just hate the fact that you have to change to hood. Can a stillen SC be tuned to 8 psi on a g35c?

They may just be saying that it goes to 05' until they get an 06' and check it out. Sometimes the facory will change minor stuf like fuel mapping and the same kit won't work right. I would suggest you call Vortech. A friend of mine got his Vortech Supercharger put on for free and the parts at wholesale since his 05' 350z was the first one they got their hands on. (at least that's what he told me)
Yes Vortech should be coming out with a 06 kit soon . I believe they found thier 06 car and test fitted it . I think it needs a different bracket and they may even come out with a all cog belt set up...we will know soon

I wouldnt bother getting stillen and would rather get vortech, but i dont wanna void my warranty on the g35. That sucks because if a vortech SC messes up my car, minor or seriously, infiniti would just deny my claim due to the SC since that specific SC isnt supported by INFINITI

At least one person has had one installed on an AUTOMATIC 06. I am not sure abut a 6MT:
