That is where this kit needs to go. The blower efficiency is the big problem. If we could get a more efficient blower not much else would need to change and the power levels would go way up.

Stillen used the M62 because it is so cheap and easy to get CARB wtih. I think by now we don't care about CARB or cheap do we???

There are engineering companies that will blue print the M62 to extreme exacting precision clearances for $500-$1,500 on your supplied unit.

Search JBP on Cobalt Forum

Look at charts you might find a bit of improved efficiency

VRT told me that they tried porting the Stillen SC with very little gains. I would spend that kind of money with caution.

Again each 11F lower air temperature inside the plenum will yield 1% increase in power. The compression of the HOT air is what reduces efficiency [parasitic hp to turn supercharger] cool input and cool output without reducing the O2 volume of the charge [water injection takes up space and reduces O2 volume].

Exceeding oem specs often cost exponentially.

Find some high octane [not for octane] 100+ racing gasoline, select it for highest density which should correlate to higher btu which will increase BMEP which will increase poweroutput. Not unusal for pump gasoline to be 10-12% below ideal btu blend because it costs more to create high btu gasoline.

The torque gains one gets from adding Toluene/m-p xylene and other aromatics is primarily from higher btu and not so much higher octane.

Above shows 4 unleaded fuels see the 4% pontential [power[heat]] difference and consider how bad 104,000 BTU ethanolized gasoline is!

That would help but be quite expensive for normal use.

A few tuners have told me 50/50 water meth adds 8-15hp on the Stillen. I have a water/meth kit and my butt dyno does not notice any difference. I got it to help keep my car from pinging.
