Is Stage IV really it for the Stillen SC?

Is it possible to squeeze out any more power beyond the stage IV setup? Wouldn't cams, bigger injectors, small pulley help in getting the HP up to 400whp? I know that it is limited in the amount that it can make, but is that because of the design? There has got to be a way, right?

i think cams would help it out. Would be pretty cool to see a 400+whp stillen, but so far I've never heard of one even getting past 380whp no matter what people did

A Magnusson M90 is the next size up Eaton blower they could use. Cams can raise your boost, at some point you need to decide if the cookie cutter SS program in stage 4 will make enough power for you. I bet a Utec or unichip could pull more power out of the M62.

I can barely stand this hood....all my co-workers been making fun about this hood...looks like a p*nis...if it came out with the bigger hood, I might as well paint brushed it a "zipper"

stillen told me they were working on a 91..... but with that blower, there's a lot of play that comes a long with it..... they told me headers and a couple of other things will be a major contributor to more power to come..... hmmmmmmmmm can't wait.....

M91 huh? I've never heard of this model from Magnusson or Eaton.

Here's an overview of the Eaton models. http://www.capa.com.au/eaton_mp112_4th.htm
Sam and others at Stillen have said the M90 is an on again off again thing. I think depending on Nissans next generations of the VQ models will determine if this kit gets an upgraded blower.

How hard would it be to upgrade the blower on ours? Is it a simple take off put on deal??? or would a new custom plenum need to be created? Also, with that new boost, would the current intercooler work or would a bigger one be needed?

Measure and time graph the plenum air temperature after the intercooler.......that will point the way to power increases, as each 11F is 1% less density which can decrease power by 1%.

A great trick is to redesign AC system to use part of it to chill the water/alcohol mixture to 32F and store a large quanity of insulated chilled water to decrease the intercooler temperature for say 30 seconds........in summer this 32F water cann yield 5-7% or more.

Measure the plenum air temp and calculate the cost of improvement.

I spoke to VRT and Scott said he has tried just about everything to get more power out of the stillen blower: cams, water/meth, headers, new tune, etc... The efficacy of the blower is low and it is only good to about 9psi of boost (boost comment was confirmed by Sam at Stillen).

This is a great kit for what it is and one of my favorites but not if you are going BIG!

If you guys are serious about staying with a positive displacement setup. Someone should try contacting mech tech motorsports http://www.mechtech-ms.com/

They do whipples which could possibly be adapted to the Stillen setup, efficiency would be better and you could get actual boosted air not just blown air,
