Ugly Roof Antenna

I got rid of my ugly roof antenna.

I went from OEM 7"er to 1" stubby.

That should solve the car cover problem as well.

You are right Ian, It certainly helped the car cover install.

But, after a short test period, Karen did not like it because of the poor reception in the fringe area we live in. So I ordered the Mangowalk 3" rubber antenna.
Well I installed the 3" Mangowalk.

The reception was improved but no where as good as the 7" OEM.

Well, guess what, I'm back to that 7" UGLY roof antenna

That's a shame Wayne.

That reminds me. I have to try my radio with the 2 1/2" mangowalk that I got a couple of months ago.

Not sure I've turned on the sound system since then.

haha, if you haven't turned on the sound system in 2 months, then I think it will be fine for you
It was the FM that was affected on mine, the XM still worked fine.

You should measure you antenna's pod dimensions as shown if the dimensions are ok then send me pm.
I'll take pic when my fx is back from dealer after service.
