Unhappy first ticket in the G

I JUST GOT A F*CKING TICKET!!!!

there was a motorcycle cop just chilling in the residential area where i live, pulling over everyone who didn't make a complete stop. there was already like 5 other cars parked on the side. i tried to talk my way out of it, since i live 20 FEET away from where it happened, but that jack*ss wrote me up anyways.

the part that pisses me off the most? IT'S THE SAME COP THAT GAVE ME MY FIRST SPEEDING TICKET a year ago. WHAT THE F*CK?!! seriously, what are the odds that the SAME cop pulls you over AGAIN?

so after he pulls me over, some other car did the same thing. he asks that guy to roll his window down, tells him to make a complete stop next time and LETS THE GUY GO. what the hell, right?

at least he didn't get me for my tint or no front license plate. irvine PD can go suck a d*ck. what a way to start the long weekend

** it's been less than 18 months since my last ticket, so traffic school is out of the question. so what are my options? is this ticket worth fighting? any advice would be appreciated **

Shut the f*ck up you f*cking troll, go cry about your Infiniti I30 or w/e that bullsh*t thread you made was about. Anyways, sometimes cops are just ****** and have nothing better to do with their time but hand out worthless tickets...they sometimes have to meet a quota, those f*cking pigs

I hear ya missxhustler.

I got a ticket YESTERDAY for my tints..

NYPD had a checkpoint on the service road of the highway (freeway in cali terms) causing lots and lots of traffic.. this guy sees my car all nice and shiny.. thinks my tints are too dark so tells me to pull over to the side. I'm tryin to tell the guy that these tints aren't that dark and there's plenty of other people with darker tints he can pull over. Well that didnt work.. I got slapped with a $60 dollar ticket as well as some other guy who got one. After they gave me and the other guy the tickets they dipsetted.. fockin cops... I hate them.. they have nothin better to do seriously.

As for your situation, I'd fight the ticket. Try going to www.ticketassassin.com. I checked their site out and they have some good information on how to fight tickets. 90 something percent of Americans end up just paying for their tickets instead of trying to fight it (as per that site). I'm gonna fight my ticket for sure because this isn't the first time it happened. I'm going to get a receipt from a shop saying I got my tints removed, show up to court and hope that one of those officers aren't there, and also tell the judge that they didn't use the tint meter to see the visible light %. Good luck.

No problem.. the only downfall in fighting a ticket is the fact that you have to take a day off of work JUST TO GO TO COURT.. it's such a hassle.. and it really takes time out of you which you could've used to make some $$ or something.. that's what I hate about court and law.. you have to make time for it when you could be doing other things.

fighting ticket by mail

Tickets suck...especially when they're for BS.

You may be able to (if you choose to fight the ticket) do everything by mail--I believe its called a "Written Declaration". Check with the OC court--you're in Irvine, so that would be South County. The risk you face is that you may preempt any traffic school options--but it sound like TS isn't an option anyway. Also, you're gonna have to spend a bit of time writing your "case".

Good luck. Odds are that the PD will not spend more of your tax dollars chasing your case...they can make more money ticketing other hard working citizen.....don't get me started...

yeah my friend who is an attorney also suggested that i submit the written declaration versus going into court. i heard that irvine PD gets paid overtime to show up in court, so most likely he'll be there
