Maxima now has 298k miles on it with nothing but a rebuilt tranny and new clutch. I'm sorry but I feel it would be pretty damn tough to kill this engine by redlining it a few times a day.
I'm pretty sure these engines will last forever...I've been convinced that you have to drive your car somewhere in the middle...some days push the hell out of it, other days, take it easy.
