fresh air anyone?

i've bought a few different car air fresheners in the past (5 different brands) but all of them only seem to work for a few days.. or maybe it's my sense of smell, i dono.

i was wondering if you guys have any preferred ari fresheners that works well consistently for even a few months.

Try the Zaino leather conditioner... People say it will give the car that new car smell again.

Man, how I hate the stinky smell of a new car. Really, I do. My car is almost 1 year old and it hasn't gone away. I only really smell it if I haven't been in the car for more then 1 day so it isn't so bad but it is still there. I like the smell of limes and citrus. You can get those at the Japanese stores in a tin container. They are made of some sort of jelly and once opened, it'll last like a month.

Iono if you would call what I do is "ghetto", but I have this really nice smelling candle that I crushed up and put into a cheese cloth and threw in the trunk. The smell reaches the cabin just fine, esp on hot days. I can't find any air freshners that I like so I went with what was second best

Hey, this is a good idea, really Candles costs a lot less then those air freshners and they aren't so overpowering. I think the Jelly in the Tin I was referring to is called My Sharidan and it's very strong (I usually cover half of the opening so it won't be so strong). I will have to try this candle trick. I don't think it's ghetto, considering there are soo many different candles out there, you can control how much, what smell, etc. with it.

I like the A.F. that look like a hockey puck. They have a little sticker over the top and you peel it back and it's like a gel inside but it won't spill if you tip it over. My favorite scents are berry and vanilla and they'll last at least a month or two. I get them at my local kragen but I think every auto parts store has 'em

Yankee candle company makes some that last a little while as long as you go by the instructions.
