Is the G yet another boy-racer type of a car?

i have yet to see a G with nonmatching unpainted body parts, which is almost the 1st rule of ricer mobile. I have yet to see a G with 747 wing on the back thank God, and I have yet to see a G with all 4 wheels on hubs. I admit some of the aftermarket kits out there are kinda outrageous, but I have yet to see a G that made me want to cry for putting down our rides.

Think about all those thousands of G owners that are not members on this forum. The only people on here are enthusiasts. You can't make these asumptions by what you see on these forums. We are a minority. Look at all the drivers of the G's tomorrow and maybe you will asnwer your own question.

LOL! Ummm...I'm not a boi or boy.
Well, maybe a tomboy gearhead who likes lipstick and heels.
At the moment I have a teddy bear seatbelted in the back of my coupe
because one of my children thought it was funny.

I don't think that fits into any category

i love my coupe! and as said before the coupe has the sophisticated sporty look that everyone loves.

any car once it becomes older then 3 years old the population of them will raise, the other day i was driving down the road and saw THREE bmw 745i in less then a half hour

same goes for the s500 and escalades very popular cars in my opinion but its still not a camry or accord

Lets face it. Virtually ANY car can be modded to look like a boy racer rig. Slap on enough body kit, big enough spoiler, and stickers and you too can look like a clown.

WTF? Is this English? An M3 as a POS. Were you dropped on your head daily as a child?

I am 24 and upgraded from an 04 VW R32 to get into something with more luxury and little to no loss in performance. I don't see how a $40,000 car could be considered as a "boy ricer" car. If it is considered one, oh well, I like mine . If someone wants me to drive something else, they can make the car payment

I believe I asked the same thing about this My Space reject. You know what scares me? As an almost 40 year old I have the privilege of having illiterate morons like this taking care of me and my country in my golden years.

Myspace reject, LMAO . He is my "peer," how do you think I feel
But to each his own I guess.

The current poll about % of income spent on the car payment isn't surprising me a whole lot. Seems like a alot of people (especially younger people) are buying a car they probably can't afford. It's nice to have a nice car when you are 2X, but it's also nice to feed yourself when you retire

Most 30+year old owners aren't member of this forum....but anyway...
350z was my first choice but I realized that it's got the boy-racer image that's why I went to get a G35C. So to answer the question...I don't think it's a boy-racer car.

There is nothing ricey about the G35. 99.9 percent of the G35's out there are beautiful. Even the high mileage G35's are still asking 23 G's (CDN) where I live. And lots of those cars have been on the market forever. Believe it or not, depreciation slows after the first couple years of a cars life. I think it'll be a long while before anyone sees ricers farting around in these cars.

I spend most of the my year at school in northern California and see very few Gs. When I'm at home in Phoenix I see even fewer. Interestingly though, I just started an internship at a law firm in Washington DC about a half a mile from the white house and seriously when I walk three and half blocks back and forth from work I see a G pretty much every time. The vast majority are coupes, too, having few if any mods. All are really nice and clean though. I have also seen more M3s than in my entire life, so it seems like the young professional crowd around here is pretty hot for the luxcoupes.

If this internship goes well enough I actually plan on buying a G after years of mounting desire. Pretty much every day I check autotrader for newly offered 2004 MTs (black is hot). My limit is around 26k so I'm hopping to get lucky and find a good buy. But no, I really don’t think the G has become another rice bowl quite yet.

I came from a WRX...to get away from the boy racer image....So now Im happy with my G..all luxury and sport to have some fun.

I think the G is too luxurious, especially with the Infiniti Logo....It does have a race look as well...but shouldnt be mistaken for a boy racer car.

One.
