this thread has brought an interesting about my 3M on my G
I previously had the 3M installed before taking delivery...
I was charged the usual $699 for the install
and I was inquiring about the front bumper, and he told me that the front bumper has no 3M on it because the bumper is plastic...I was thinking to myself WTF?!
I was thinking maybe he just doen't know and it IS on there, well I've looked over the car and can't seem to find the edge or anything that looks like the clear bra on my hood and fenders.
Is it supposed to have it? or is it the $1000 job that includes the front bumper?

I am confused. So you do or you don't have a clearbra on your bumper? Typically all clearbra installations include at least the bumper. Many people pay extra for the hood, headlights, side mirrors, etc. if they want more coverage.
When mine was installed I paid about $600 for the full package (bumper, 1/3 of the hood, healights, side mirrors).
EDIT - If it is there, you will know it. You can find the edges fairly easily when looking up close.

Paid $650 for my venture shield clear bra that covers the hood (at least 1/3 of it), fenders (matches edge line of hood piece), headlights, sideview mirrors, and last but not least, computer cut single monolithic sheet of film for the front bumper. This was when the installer was still doing mobile jobs and so they came out to my garage to do the installation.
My bumper has seen quite a few dingers but the film has taken most of the initial hits and scuffs from the road junk... just clean it and treat it with wax and you'd be good all the time.
