hey guys ive been checking out different forums for different cars and such, made a thread on supra forums about the different cards i was in the market for (g35,evo,sti,legacy gt,mazdaspped 6, is300)

anyway. couple pf the guys who owned g's and z's were sayin dont get a g35 cuase the tranny is complete #^&! and that thier both on thier 2nd tranny or somthing... is this true? cuase the g35 was my first choice =(

i reallt like the G, but if its got tranny probs then its a horrible choice for me and my family, can any1 help?

is it just with certain years, or all? or rarely?

 

If its the manual, then yes, the early models did experience some tranny issues. 04.5 and up, the problems were fixed. The auto has never had issues and its bullet proof.

Hmmm i cant afford a new 1 at all, id have to go used 03-04.

are the autos decent fast? i kinda wanted a 6mt but not if trannies blow. are thier signs i can look for when test driving them?

 

about 30 dragsstrip trips and hundreds of street launches my 3rd gear blew and i got a new tranny for free under waranty. It depends how u drive it. 31k hard miles on the car and im on the second tranny and the stock clutch which i can drive with another 15k or so.
