^yeah carnauba waxes are not made for lasting against the elements, I see them as more for a car show finish than month to month. People put on Meguire's gold class thinking its going to last a long time (i think because of the price and the benz on the front) and it lasts a month or two at most.

Providing you have a few layers built up over time. Detailer (Z6) is great after each wash and between layers of Zaino too. Tends to even it out more.
Nothing wrong with a good carnauba wax, just expect to do more frequent touch ups if you want it to look it's best all the time. Detailers do make it easier so you don't have use more abrasive polishes (combo-cleaners) that often.

5)Wipe Polish off with microfiber towels as you go. do a section, wipe it off don't let it sit on there too long (its not like wax, Polish DOES NOT need to dry

Your knowledge is quite limited............!
If your using a cheap wax you'll get poor results.........fact! For the past
several years I've been using Zymol Concourse wax. It contains 91%
WHITE carnauba which is much harder than yellow. I'll put the shine of my
Twilight Blue G up against any wax job out there and the surface is not
effected by tree sap or bird poop.......washes off. At $163 for a 8oz. jar
it had better work and to me it's worth every cent!

take it a couple more steps to make it look extra wet.

Except I don't use the NXT Paste. I've always used liquid. Find much of a difference?
