already a good review er compare here on both of them...
in essence your getting straight line performance, less creature comforts (ie no temp control among other items), creaks and groans of frame, and standard US relibility.
i really wanna upgrade my 05 , thought about US vehicles and said hell no... reilibilty is not acceptable. thinking about 335i... but too expensive refuse to spend 475 or so a month for it. So I'm waiting on the 08 coupe... just hope its early to mid year !
imo dont do it.

The G may not be a 4 second car, but compared to most of the crap on the road, it is fast! I easily pass most cars on the road without even trying. The car looks exotic and like it should cost twice as much as it does. Its still considered one of the best looking cars on the road by C and D, and Motor Trend. I recently test drove a new S2000 and was surprised at how boring the steering felt. I know, the S2000 is a great car and has nearly 50/50 weight distribution, but the steering felt a bit heavier than my G (6MT with the complimentary sport package). My girlfriend thought the S2000 sounded wimpy too compared to the G. Just my $.02

Why bother asking? It's all about what you think/like. Just do your research and go from there. Would you ask Jesus if you should be a Christian or a Devil-worshipper? (yeah, we the good guys )
