Question for guys that have changed their horns.

Did you guys replace both or just one of the the horn. I just got one of those 139 db electric horns. I took out the one that was 500 mhz. Should I have changed the 400 mhz horn to get a louder or deeper sound.

My horn sounds like one of those ferarri horns, but seems not loud to me. I guess I'll test it later but it started getting cold outside. so I just put it on the 500 mhz one and didn't try the other one.

its the nautilus 139 db horn, I highly recommend it.

A good motorcycle horn is probably smart if you really want to be heard for safety reasons, and not just sound like an exotic.
Higher pitch will carry further, that's why the db output is not everything.

Did you put the horn on a relay? (I ordered the same horn, but it doens't arrive until later this week). I remember it saying that if it's not on a relay, and getting power straight from the battery, it won't get draw enough current to be at it's full loudness.

interesting, It came with a relay but I didn't put it on. Wasn't sure how. but I googled it and found the wiring diagram for it. So i'll fix it later this week, I have to pick up wire, connection end and heat shrink wrap.
