Thinking Of Buying A G
Thinking Of Buying A G
Alright I am not new to g35s at all but i really want to get one now and i am trading in my 2003 escalade for one i know i want an 05 or 06(are there any differences) what should i expect to pay for a 06 with everything but navi and how are these cars long term
if you get the car, just get the navi, you are going to regret not getting it later. TRUST ME. I wish I would have got the stupid navi when I bought the car.
only issue that is bad is oil consumption, which i believe the ones produced in late 2006 had kinda fixed. there's still oil consumption but not as bad. But then other people say its hit and miss with that issue.
05-06 have revised taillights, 06 brought out the projector headlights and 06 has released the very vibrant color Liquid Platinum which other years don't have. Interior was redone for the 06 just minor stuff like redone door panels with a better arm rest. and different clock(which i think is still ****ty, 40k for a car and it comes with an analog clock)
06 also has the new sport front bumper. with lip molded to the bumper, looks meaner then the other years.

If the car's fun to drive, is getting lost such a big deal?
On a more serious note, I feel that the need for navi is related to how well you can use a conventional map. Most of the people I'm related to could not read a map quickly if their lives depended on it. They need navi.
The main situation where I've have liked navi in my car is when there's dense traffic on an Interstate and I've opted to take my chances with the surface streets. Then navi would have been very nice.
