Roadtrip with your G

has anyone been on a roadtrip with their G?
I live in st. louis but want to visit my girl in tx, should i use the G or fly and buy a rental.

which is the cheaper alternative

it seems flying and renting is more expensive than driving there, but im deadly afraid of bug guts on my first love

I went on a 500mi trip with mine. It was great except for the seat...the side controls part is much harder than the rest of the seat. Other than that, it was a fun trip!

yeah it gets uncomfortable after a long trip. I drove to about 200 miles in one trip and my back hurt at the end of the trip.

I would rather enjoy a peaceful road trip with my G. I drove about 900 miles around trip to meet up my gf. Just like one stone for two birds...spend time with your #1 gf then meet up your #2 gf!! you dont do that every weekend!! Turn on your favorite CDs, breath in the fresh air from different places and perhaps, it would be fun to run into another G somewhere on the way!! If you have a time for a road trip, do it because you never know what happend tomorrow...just my thought!!!! Am I sound restless? hehe

well last summer i drove almost 3000 miles cross country. i might be doing that again this summer, but not decided yet... don't want to put more miles on her, and my tires will probably be shot if i take the trip.

but yeah, nothing but driving for 3-4 days was a lot of fun. be careful in the middle states though, cops don't usually see cars like ours and pull us over just for the hell of it (i guess they figure we are "wealthy"?), especially if you got out-of-state plates and probably won't be able to fight it. i got pulled over twice in the same fvcking day, in two different states. bs'ed for speeding when cars were passing me left and right... i was so pissed but seeing my car listed as NISSAN SKYLINE on the two tickets was funny

bugs... get a leather bra, or do what i did, tape your car up with painters tape. the whole front bumper, a little bit of the hood, the mirrors. after the trip the whole freakin bumper was covered with little bugs... every inch of it. taking off the tape was fvcking nasty but it helps with rock chips too.
