looking for larger oil filter for 05 coupe

i heard a while back that there's a larger filter from another make/model that fits our cars. anyone else hear this too? i'd like to see if it's worth picking up at autozone instead of our midget oem filter.

Ask for a filter for a 98 Maxima. Those are the ones I use.

You're looking for the Nissan 9E000 filter.

For the 9E000 it's about the 1/2" stated above. It's used by the QX56, so it's designed to handle a much larger engine. I use them on my coupe so I know they fit fine.

I normally buy the K&N's that fit the G (forget the size/model #)...so should I look for a K&N filter that will fit the '98 Maxima?

Thanks...

Check out the M1-105. They barely fit but they do in fact fit. I bought 30 of them off e-bay and have used them for the past 4 years between my 350Z and G35C
