Yes it can, you will just have to have an ecu reflash to remove the speed limiter...i think it will do 156 at 5500 rpms...thats another 1200 RPMS it could probably do 165, but im not sure.

I dont think anyone does. Technosquare does reflashes, but you have to send you their ECU. I think AAM does reflashes as well. I am not sure of anyone in florida that can reflash your ECU, but jeremy with the performance factory he can install a utech on your car and im pretty sure with that thing that he can remove the speed limiter.

Yes, a guy with flashed ECU ran 170mph (on a down hill highway), showed me the pic of his speedometer on his cell phone. Way too crazy IMO

I have seen my car do 160 (by the speedo) on a dyno but the rollers only registered 155mph. I realize that there is a difference between achieving it on a dyno versus actually achieving it on the road though.

^^ When on the actual road, whether it be open road, racing oval, or aircraft runway, you'll have weight, aerodynamic drag, drivetrain drag, and headwind working against you... unless as mentioned you are going downhill with a 30+ mph tail wind.... but anyway, all the car sees when on a dyno is the drivetrain loss and partial weight.... hope that makes sense...

I am pretty sure a G35 running decently well will hit 160+ without the speed gov.

I have seen 150 on the GPS and it was literally still pulling. THat was on a cool day. I have also had it struggle past 140 on a hot, muggy day (and I suspect not the greatest gas).

I did 145 mph on flat ground here in florida.

Please Don't tell the FHP on me. it was in the middle of the night on a freshly repaved section of I75

speedometers have some error at high speeds. bmw's are notorious for this. i would only truly believe a gps speed for topping out.
