Heated Seat ?

My heated seats feel like they just get "warm", not hot.

I heard there was a Technical Service Bullentin put out about it, does anyone else know anything about that?

There have been a ton of complaints about the heated seats on our cars. Search around, you'll find a lot.

Make sure your putting the switch into the "high" position. The first couple of months I thought the switch had only the low position......but that was just me being stupid.

^^ Haha, that might be it. My seat gets nice and comfy on high and I usually turn it to low when it gets too hot. It's definitely not as hot as some other cars. My friend's old Wrangler used to burn after a while!

Honestly I don't know what to recommend you do. You could take it to the dealer but with an 03 do you still have the warranty? I don't think there's an actual fix, the heater's just weak by design.

Yeah... I have an 03 it has the extended warranty.
If there is no TSB or Recall on it, I dont there is anything that they can do about it. I wish there was.

My car has a switch that you can push foward or backwards, and when I push the switch towards me (rear or car) it seems to be hotter than pushing the top part of the swicth in which is supposed to be the "High" setting, but it feels low. And these seats never get hot enough to cut off.
I had a Caddy STS and I put that on "High" and would switch to low quickly, same thing in my girls Jetta she has a setting of 1-5 and 5 will burn your ***.
