what size washer goes on the oil drain plug?

 

IDK, I just buy them from Infiniti or Nissan.

 

I believe the bolt (drain plug) has the washer built in – there is no additional washer (from what I recall)...

 

there is a crush washer there but there is no need to replace it.. just make sure it is free from debris when u screw it back in.... some people tighten them to far and they seem to get to thin and leak... never tighten it more than 30 ft/lbs or it will need to be replaced

 

I've had the same crush washer on my drain plug since the day i rolled it off the showroom floor... 45k miles later it still does its job.

They are a disposable crush washer that needs to be changed every time you do an oil change. I can send you some for free. Just PM me your information and I can ship them to you.

change that "needs" to "CAN" because they dont NEED to be changed every time. I've been running the same one for 45k miles.
