Hey everyone. I am a proud owner of a 2005 G35 coupe that I picked up yesterday! I am also new to this forum and couldnt seem to find the answer to my question. When I picked up my G they gave me the keyfob and with this attached...




They are not an Infiniti dealership and did not know what it was. I have been hearing it is an immobilizer, Part of Lo-Jack, or aftermarket security??? I am not sure and could use some help.

...no idea what that key fob thing is. FCC ID# makes me think it's a transmitter of some kind.

but

THEY will replace it when you're fitted for the chip implant.

Remove it from your keychain. Leave it in the house. Start your car and drive away. I'm guessing either the car won't start, it will die after a while, or you'll be surrounded by the cops.
