hey klubb im curious as to why you support the sedan so much more than the coupe in general, I have been looking around and can tell you must own a sedan.

Is it because you just want 4 doors and more back seat leg room, or because its better at the track (via your avitar) with your mods

it's fun smokin' a coupe in a sedan (that's not why I originally got mine though... but it is fun(ny).)

After spending a year on this site before getting my car and seeing all the modded sedans i could not help my self but to get one. Tha main deciding factor was my friend with 03 Caribbean Blue 6MT coupe. Since he had a coupe i did not want the "same" car and went with the sedan and never looked back. One thing i have noticed about both cars even no stock suspension is that sedan is easier to toss around in tight corners than the coupe. Im not sure what the reason is but i did "feel" that when i drove them back to back. At the end of the day they are the same exact car with just two more doors.

hmmm interesting! I wonder what the reasoning is behind the tossability...

My guess is sedan is more rigit due to the pillar between the front and rear doors.

Quote: higher redline does not necessarily mean faster. DE engines (2003-2006) make their peak power at ~6200 rpm. 03-04 (non-revup) engine's stock rev limiter is set to 6600rpm while 05-07 (excluding the 07 sedan and 07 350z) is set to 7000rpm but still makes its peak power at 6200 rpm.

B.Money my reason for going with 03-04 is the reason that MIA BlazinVQ mentioned. Brembos which u never have to worry about going after market even if u track the car 7 days a week, and less chance of getting a motor that will consume lots of oil.
It's not about peak power where the revup shines. It's how much power is lost after peak power where the REVUP really shows its difference.

Non-revups take a bigger power drop after 6200 RPM's, whereas revups are a bit flater (doesn't lose as much power) in terms of power after 6200 RPM's. Most dyno's will prove this (disregarding the power numbers, as that's not what im really talking about.). Nothing surpricing since revups have different cams than non-revups.

B.Money, I'd say go with the 06 Coupe 6MT. It has slightly better suspension in stock form in comparison to the 03-04 Coupes, has a better interior, better headlights & tail lights, better front bumper, better engine, and other misc things. (Just cross your finger and hope you don't get one with oil consumption.)

That weight distrubition is negligible. It's not as if we're talking about 60/40 to 51/49 difference. The same thing could be said about Coupes having a wider stance. Coupes, in stock form, have a suspension tuned a bit more aggresively. But that's nothing a few mods can fix for the Sedan

The Sedans have the same potential in handling as a Coupe does (1st generation). In stock form, the Coupe usually feels alot more sportier, but then again, it's also a bit more logical for Infiniti to give the Coupe a tighter, sportier suspension.

Throw some mods into the sedan and that thing can handle VERY well. Vlad (klubbheads) really shows us how in the Canyons
