Swapping in larger fuses for smaller fuses is generally not a good idea. The wiring used in the circuit is typically sized for the circuit. A ten amp circuits wires are going to be much smaller than a 25 amp circuit. By swapping in a larger fuse you are in effect making the rest of the wiring in the circuit the fuse. The wires will not carry the amperage that the fuse will, thus melting the wire and creating some problems. Hope this helps.
