Lightbulb So many questions...

I've got so many questions about my G...yet so little...well I guess I've got lots of time...I'm going to go ahead and shoot a few questions here and if anybody here can clairfy a few things for me that would be great! If you could be as detailed as possible with your answers that'd be great as I am a big n00b to the sports car scene altogether...

1.) Where the hell can I buy a Gialla Grille? I've been searching online and there doesn't seem to be many places that sell the grille individually? They seem to always come as a package with the front bumper? And if this is true, is that a good indication that I can't install just the Gialla grill with my stock bumper? As in I would have to change the whole front bumper just to get that grill installed? And if this is true, where's a good place I can order/buy one for a good price? (FYI, I live in Vancouver, BC Canada)

2.) What kind of RPMs should I be shifting at when I'm driving to be most efficient for less fuel consumption? I guess what I'm trying to do is drive efficiently while burning up less fuel. I've read around some forums, googled up some videos, and watched a video on YouTube as well. Most of which seem to say to shift around 2500-3000 RPMs. I asked my cousin on the other hand (who's quite experienced with driving manual) and he suggested that I could shift at 2500 RPM on first and second gear. But on third and forth gear I should wait until 3500 RPM and on fifth and sixth gear I should shift around 4500 RPM. I'm just a bit skeptical about this because my instincts tell me that this doesn't make a lot of sense (although I'm not a big car person...yet). Again, my whole question is how to shift gears while be efficient with fuel consumption (and yes, I've already read the "how to drive MT" thread that stickied).

3.) When I first bought my car, I was using 94 Octane gas from Chevron. (I live in Canada if you don't already know from my other questions). Over here, we also have 92 Octane as well. I've read my user manual and it says that I require at least 91 Octane but premium is recommended. Now I spoke to two friends, one drives a WRX and they both said that I don't need to go to 94, and that 92 is good enough. The one who drives a WRX also suggested to start using 92 from now on. So I asked if I should wait until I use up all the 94 that's in my car right now and he said that it's ok to mix the two. So last night when gas was cheap, I went and filled it up with 92 (while I had half a tank of 94 left). Later on that night, when I started my car to leave a coffee shop, I noticed when my car was idling the engine would make a sort of "clicking/kicking" noise. I've read somewhere that if I used regular fuel (ie. 89 or lower) then there would be this "kicking" effect which was bad for my engine. I'm just wondering if what I experienced last night was this "kicking" effect that I've been reading about? I'm currently at work right now but I'm going to try and start my car and leave it idle a bit to see if it still does this.

Sorry for the long questions but these few things have been in the back of my mind the last couple of weeks and I've been meaning to ask them but I haven't had the time. I thnk yesterday when I noticed my car making those "clicking/kicking" noises was what broke the camels back. Thanks for everybody who are going to reply, I appreciate your time to read and answer my questions.

Where I live premium is 91, that's the highest octane option.

You'll be fine at any of the octane levels that you mentioned and it shouldn't make any difference if you mix them.

My guess is any noise you think you're hearing is in your head, or coincidental and unrelated to your octane level.

Thanks, but do you know if the grille can be bought individually and if it can be installed with an OEM bumper or do I need some sort of special bumper as well? And who's Ionic and how do I contact him/her?

I don't know man, I'm pretty sure it's not me just "hearing things" because I sorta felt the engine jolting a bit whenever it made that noise too...I'm gonna go check again right now I'll post the results of what I hear.
