However, I still love the G and would like to do a few things to personalize the car - I just dont want to void my warranty. What Dinan has offered me is a way to tune my car without loosing my warranty. Though BMW may deny me, Dinan will backfill and pay the bills directly to BMW. Are there any tuners that do that for Infiniti?

I wouldnt think Nismo would be a problem (used to have an exhuast on my 350Z) but never heard of how Infiniti dealers respond...

If you're worried about the warranty then don't do anything...all of us infiniti owners are taking a slight risk when putting aftermarket parts on the car. i know there's a good feeling behind a guarantee on the box, where if anything fails you can take it to the dealership or what not...but it's not that big of a deal

it all depends on the people at your dealership...i think bmw is the only car manufacturer with an aftermarket following such as dinan. i assumed you KNEW this that's why my answer was impul in terms of QUALITY of products...not warranty, b/c as far as i know, DINAN is the ONLY COMPANY TO give BMW customers an opportunity to fill in the potential of their cars with the warranty still in the customer's favor

look man, an exhaust isn't going to hurt your car...there is an article in popular science that says it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to screw up your car with a cat-back...i took my car to the dealership to get a new battery put in the car and i chit-chatted with the service guy for 10 minutes about all the modificatinos done to the car...the battery was free, they told me about a survey i should fill out, and i was on my way.

i think the 335 vs g35 has been beaten to death and if you think you can keep up with a 335i with a few bolt-ons, then you must've not done your research before pulling the trigger. I bought the G because I the savings of over 20% after tax and fees...it's an easy choice when you know you're going to buy another car in a few years and if you're saving more than 10,000 dollars...for 10k or more, i would expect a better looking car than a 335i...no offense BMW drivers, but when you go scoop up a chick...it's just another 3 series to them

Dinan will warranty engine/drivetrain failure due to their products??

No wonder they're so expensive. They just built the warranty into the price. $2k for a tune? Jimminy Christmas that's ridiculous.

You can't argue with the gains, but still..... a tune for ANY car shouldn't cost more than $500.

well infiniti is not as **** about warranties as bmw is. Just go ahead and put on aftermarket bolt on's and get it tuned with the UTEC or OSIRIS

the video i posted...there was a dinan 335i over 400
and my friends first came like that but he modded it even more lol

That time is definitely slow. In perfect conditions with a good driver, it'll be faster, and so will the Dinan.

But, since both cars ran at the same time, on the same track, it's a valid comparison to see which is faster. It does look like they're in the mountains and the launches didn't look that good.

FWIW, I've watched a stock 335i sedan run a 13.6 in the 1/4 when it was about 85 degrees out and humid.
