Scare the crap out of the guy. Wait to tell him that the rims are really cool! Tell him you think that a friend with a G35 may have the same rims. Ask how much he paid for them... Then ask if he has lug locks. Tell him your friend is always scared of getting his stolen and has video surveillance hooked up! This way you scare him, and also find out if he was a sucker and bought them from someone... Overall I feel for you. I had the same thing happen to me with my integra. All 4 wheels stolen! I even think I may have seen them on e-bay, but I did not have any identification# etched into the RIMS. Definitely a good suggestion. Etch some form of ID (initials etc) with a dremel. That is 100% proof!

Before you do anything make sure it's the guy who actually stole them. It's possible he just bought them from the retards who did the job.

EDIT* I see someone already mentioned this on the second page.

I'm beginning to think the OP may have done something not-so-legal and may be in jail. Haha.

through a gallon of deisel and 1/2lb of sugar in the tank.

case closed.

best thing to do is find the car again. call 911 (non emergency line) have an officer dispatched.

Here's a summary of the collective "wisdom" of 95% of those who responded to this post (and the OP has yet to write back in):
  • tape a bullet to his windshield
  • Kick his a$$
  • get a bunch of fellow G owners and wait for him to get out of work, then jump him
  • throw diesel and sugar in the tank
  • Loosen his lug nuts and let him drive off
  • destroy his rims and tires
  • destroy the car
  • ***** him up good
  • Steal the rims back
  • combine all of the recommendations (i.e., kick his a$$, destroy his car, steal the rims back, etc.)
  • etc., etc., etc.
Nuff said!

"braintree," living up to your name there. Nice posts. I can understand the rage that would overcome someone who has been the victim of such a crime, but it is definitely best to work with the proper authorities. Way to bring the thread down to earth.

In a jail somewhere...
Officer: "Well kid, you got one call. Who's it gonna be, your mom?
OP: "Can I log on to driver real quick?"
