Front License Plate

I have a red G35 (2004). The previous owner must have had a license plate on the front since there are two holes in the bumper. I want to purchase the smaller Infinity logo license plate but I am not sure which color would look best: chrome logo on chrome plate or chrome logo on black plate. Does someone have a photo of either on their red G35 or have a recommendation as to which would look better? Also, can you give me sources where they can be purchased?

I really hoped when the name of this section was changed to Forum Feedback, Suggestions & Questions it would cut down on threads like this, but apparently I was wrong.

Posting your thread in the right section will greatly improve the probability of having your question answered.

Post to wrong forum

Not sure you received my reply last night but just in case I sincerely apologize for this post which was evidently in the wrong place which you reminded me ever so rudely. I consider myself very computer literate but this website is one of the most non-user friendly website I have encountered. Your response was very condescending and I really did not appreciate it. I will refrain from visiting this website in the future and go on to another one that is a little more "friendly."

I'm sorry you feel that way, but the name of that section had recently been changed to make it even clearer what it was for, so I was surprised to see another post related to the G itself rather than the forum in that section. The name has now been changed again to remove the word "questions" to make it even clearer.

When viewing the sections from the forum index (the main page) there are descriptions for each of the sections. The name of the section you posted in clearly indicated it was for feedback and questions about the forum itself. The description beneath the section's clarifies this further by stating "For posting Feedback, Suggestions or Questions regarding G35Driver.com".

In the future I would suggest you take a few minutes to take a look at all the main sections in the forum (as seen in the forum index). I hope you will then be able to make sense of our "non-user friendly website". This layout is fairly common amongst forums, and if you familiarize yourself with the index it may help you post in a more appropriate section.

If you have suggestions on how to make the forum easier to navigate feel free to post them up.

Thanks,
kernel

This is in fact a pretty friendly place, but you wouldn't really know that since it appears you just got here. And since you're leaving, I guess you'll never know.

Good luck with all those other G forums. They're generally a lot smaller and not as well organized as this one. And if you think kernel was rude and condescending ... Better yet, stick around here for a while. Use the search feature and read a lot before posting. There's tons to learn here, and it is a nice place to visit.

+1 to what Beebo said. Bumper plates FTW.

I totally agree, I live in VA where front plates are manditory and I hate it! I had my g for almost a year and was refusing to put a plate on, then I ended up getting pulled over at least 3 or 4 times just b/c of no front plate. So i put one on damnit. I havent felt the same since, every time i step into the garage and see that damn front plate staring back at me...oh it makes me want to move to a new state.

The reason i wont take mine off is because if i get pulled over for it, they might get me for tint too.

So yea, just not worth the risk IMO when i already have holes in my bumper...

i was thinking about getting some of these plugs but then i got the same problem. My front door windows are tinted and i dont want to get a ticket for this. I should buy a new bumper if i want want to have a nice and clean look. My current bumper already has holes. Too bad.

Thanks Beebo for the bumper plugs website though.

And BTW, does anyone know do we need front plate in California?
