I hate Vtec!!
I hate "VTEC". I live in Philly and its alot of street racing here. Every Sunday its a big car meet and its always civics and integra everywhere.I got a 04 G35 coupe S/C 6mt with 402whp. And I got theses dudes every Sunday talking all kinds of sh*t. They always wants to race me on a roll
. Saying went they hit VTEC its over
. What did I miss? When did VTEC become better then boost? I don't see what I big deal is. I used to have a Rsx Type-S with VTEC and make 230whp and I didn't see the big deal then or now. I justs don't see it

Same here.. You have no idea how bad these honda guys bitch and whine about racing from a roll so they can be in their little "vtec range"... IMO thats pathetic and ***** ****.

VTEC is pretty awesome. I've got the Toyota version of it in my other car (VVTL-i). Normally, when the engine would be dead over 6k RPM, the second cam kicks in and it's like you've got a new engine until redline. It's a different driving experience. The G is all torque all the time, while you have to keep RPM's up for VTEC, but it's also fun.
