either of the 2 cam sensors will throw the lights....give you no starts, cut off, or extended cranks.
the throttle body (etc) will throw the lights......give you shyt worth of throttle lol
the pedal assembly (app) will throw the lights....give you shyt worth of throttle as well lol
low brake fluid will throw the lights.....check your brakes cuz they're prolly real thin unless something is obv leaking

update: In case anyone goes through this, the duralast part I got from autozone worked just fine. Read this whole thread and reference the picture a member posted about how to disengage the clip from the sensor. I have no mechanical ability and got this done in under twenty minutes, reset the ecu w/ the pedal sequence and the car feels outstanding once again...Thanks driver, you guys just saved me a few hundred bucks.

Hey Guys,

I'm having trouble getting it disengaged from the cam... I dont have channel locks or anything like that. The sensor is face down from the one posted on page four... How exactly can i remove it without damage the lock mechanism?

Thanks so much for this tip! It saved me a lot of frustration and probably a broken wiring harness connector. I referenced your post over in the camshaft position sensor DIY thread and gave you props, so hopefully more people will be aware of it when they set out to change their sensor. Much appreciated!

I just had these sames issues. My car stalled slightly in traffic and all of a sudden the VDC off, SES and slip warnings all lit up. I also had difficulty starting the car. I ended up letting the car sit overnight and the VDC and slip warning lights turned off. I then checked my fuel cap and tightened it up 3 clicks. Now 4 days later everything is back to normal. Very strange... 2003 6MT G35
