If there is a runner up to Chevron, it would be Shell's Nitrogen added fuels.

every shell purchase you get 5% back as a rebate on your statement. So if you spend $50/week on gas you are saving $130/year.

I fill up Shell on Thursdays when it's 5 cents off and use my Shell card to get 5% back.

93 yesterday was $2.52 after all discounts.

Only thing about Shell is the prices are very different between stations half a mile from one another (unlike Valero for instance).

Unfortunately for me, there are only 3 ethanol free stations near me. One expensive Exxon, one decent Exxon, and some no name place that ended giving me about 15mpg. Ethanol seems to cost me about 2-3mpg.

Exxon it is

Mass has been E10 for years. I don't think i've put 100% gasoline into my car since 2000 or so

I have an ethanol free station just down the street so I always try to go there if I can. The price is usually 5-10 cents more per gallon than E10, but sometimes it's exactly the same.

When you charge the CC, do they charge you at CC prices or Cash prices?

Shell V-Power and my UOA's proves the best so far in keeping things clean in the cc's.

Shell/Chevron doesn't charge more for CC. I know Valero/76 do. I don't recall about Mobil though.

Gary

My 2003 nissan pathfinder also states to use only premium gasoline (which I do), saving 4$ per tank isn't worth having future problems with the engine. btw there is a gas station by my house they got 95 also.

Prices are the same. Ive never heard of a gas station charging more if you use a CC around here. Most stations encourage paying with a CC at the pump, but its the same cost if you prepay with cash.

Really? In Jersey they have different prices for cash and CC, cash is usually 10 cents cheaper... they pass along the savings from not having to process a CC
