So what Gas Station do you go to??

I have a 5at 04 G coupe and of course I put premium in it. Im not getting into this whole premium and regular discussion. But i wanted to know which gas stations you guys go to? I live in Queens, NY so I go to Hess Mostly. A couple of people were tellin me to go to Sunoco and get 91. I havent tried that yet. But mostly Hess has the cheapest price for premium gas around here. Its about $2.99 in Brooklyn. I tried Gulf premium yesterday cuz it was cheaper @ $2.89 n found out it burned quicker. I just wanted to know which gas station you guys recommends. p.s. do not mention no frills gas stations or the ones with no names...they dont count!! And that just diluted gas and air since gas is sold by the weight. Just in case you didnt know

O yeah if you have a iphone like get the GasBuddy app. its cool it allows you to find the cheapest gas station around you and also you can report gas prices for others to see across the usa

i know your first post said you didnt want to get into this but i have used 87 for a year straight and i filled up with 91 last week and there is not much of a difference to be honest, but i use superpumper in AZ...87 is about $2.75 or so and 91 was about $3.00

my dad has owned about 30 gas stations over the past 30 years, ARCO, shell, '76, texaco and more and let me assure you there is no difference between the gas. 91 premium is 91 premium regardless of were you buy it at.

Shell or BP. I tried Hess and if leaves black ash type dirt on my back bumper.

i only use sunoco premium .

the difference in price isnt enouph for me to fill up on regular..

more info: on that shell with nitrogen in it?

reguarding reg / premium ..

regular will burn clean

but not as clean as premium

meaning less gunk in the engine or something like that ..
(im sure someone can explain it better)

thats why i only use premium ..

^ The nitrogen they refer to is not elemental N2, the gas that comprises some 78% of the air we breathe. It refers to the atomic nitrogen found in the amines commonly used as detergents in gasoline. Shell's "nitrogen enriched" terminolgy simply means it has more detergents. In other words they're putting something like N,N-Dimethylformamide in their gas. Which does clean very well.

91 and 93 are the octane levels, the lower the octane the easier it is to burn, some cases you will get pinging using a lower octane than recommended. to answer why not 93, lots of places in california dont have 93 only 91.
