well my crazy cousin decided to hold the brake and gas it up to 4-5k with vdc on for about 2 sec, will that do anydamage to the car? but he didn't launch the car

I am guessing your cars automatic. People usually launch the car from only 2k. Higher RPM will just put more strain on your car. For short periods of time its ok. but don't keep doing it for no reason.

...I could understand that if you were trying to do a massive burn out or something... but with the VDC on???

if you can trans brake your auto above 2500 rpm YOU HAVE A PROBLEM.

no matter what if you held onto both..there's NO REASOn or EXPLAINATION for having the VDC on or even doing ANY of this in the first place?
