My first post:

High performance driving school, like Skip Barber. It's a best mod you can ever buy. It doesn't depreciate and retains with you forever. As a bonus, you can finish a lap at the track way faster than any mods you can add on.

Premier Member

If you have a coupe read this:

https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-cou...pe-thread.html

If you have a sedan read this:

These will give you way more information than I could here.

Welcome to driver....=)

Without a doubt the best mod for the G35 has been the MotorDyne spacer and if you have the '05+ edition their MREV +spacer. Either of those along with a z-tube and K & N drop in filter, none of which should blow your warranty....

While I basically agree in principal - its not normally practical for the majority of enthusiasts on this site... lets face it, most guys just want added street performance and what occasional track they see is more often a drag strip.

if this was an NSX forum or Porsche, etc - your post would apply to many more people.

For those looking to track their G on a road course often (which are very, very few people) instructor time is money well spent.

To the OP - just spend some time reading in the tech section... you'll get too many opinion (most of them with no basis) by just asking general questions... once you have an idea of which direction you want to go and have specific questions, there are plenty of people out here that can help.

Happy modding

the best thing you can do for the money -

REAR PUMPKIN SWAP

If you have a 5AT - Going to 3.5 or 3.7 is like a brand new car

If you are a 6MT - You must switch to 3.9 or 4

You will feel the difference more than any other mod that you do.

its not likely that you will find a pumkin with 3.9 in it already... gears + install into your pumpkin will be over 1700... cheaper to get 4.0 (its an OEM ring & pinon set) 450 new... install 300-400. If you are AT, a better choice is 3.7 (also OEM) same price... so basically about 900 +/- (after shipping and/or tax) including shims, crush sleeve and install.
