I use seafoam in my tank. I have noticed on this last tank the my car seems to dislike shell 93 gas. It just doesn't have to power and pep. I'm gonna try a different brand and maybe some 91 octane to check if there is a difference. My mileage has suffered also.

I consistently get around 22mpg in suburban/rural roads where I average around 35-45mph semi aggressive driving, and on long highway trips its around 24-26mpg under 80mph.

Never heard of seafoam and if you need plugs before 50-60K then you have other problems imo. The only time I put anything in my tank is on a long trip and I'll use some Chevron Techron Fuel System Cleaner

I have almost 63,000 miles and all I've done is change the oil every 5,000 miles, nothing else aside from cleaning my air filter lol. I'm happy with my mileage lol.

After my last fill up, the empty light came on after 325km (roughly 200miles). I'd say I do about 90% city driving, and don't usually push the car too hard.

Seafoam all the way FTW. Before I did the three step seafoam process I was getting 240 to the tank. I can know easily hit the 300 mark right before the light turns on.

+1 for SEAFOAM

Since we're all boasting how low we can go, I've gotten it down into single digits! ...at the airstrip. Yep, I used to track mpg on a spreadsheet and keep receipts. Blah. What a waste of time. Now I just enjoy the rush.

i fill my tank once a week, usually around 18.5 gallons and i get anywhere from 430-440 miles. i am mostly highway miles maybe 80 %, but that is a long way from your 300. i have an 05 with 70K miles

Hey you guys, long time no talk. After having gone to 2 general mechanics in the last 6 months(owned the car for 8 months) and nothing showing up on their diagnostics, i went to infiniti dealer today. just got my 2004 g35(auto) back and i was hoping they could tell me what was wrong but it turns out the "car is running perfectly." i am really running out of hope and think im going to have to get rid of my baby G. to much money being wasted on gas when it shouldnt be. my gas consumption when from about 180mi every 17-18 gals to now about 135. any advise would be appreciated as i rly want to keep it.

things ive done:

New k&N air filer
New Platinum tipped spark plugs
BG air intake system cleanse
regular oil changes...first i used castrol syntec then changed to royal purple
93 gas everytime
gradual accelerations at about 2000-2500rpm

fyi:about 7 months ago my service engine light turned on so i went to advance auto to get codes read. it threw a running rich and evap system small leak codes dude deleted it and never came back on.

my friends, i really need your recommendations. thanks in advance.
