Did I get screwed?
~$1800 for the 30k mile service + rear brake job (resurface rotors and replace pads).
How badly did I eat it? Seems insane for the price and i'm not even sure how I managed to walk out without throwing a fit.

The Nissan dealer by my house has the brake job for $220 =/
^ Had the same stuff done in December, and paid ~$470 for both services at an independent shop that specializes in Infinitis and Nissans.
FYI, my local Infiniti dealer quoted $750 for the 30k service and $300 for the rear brakes resurface/pad replace - and I thought that was high....
I would never use a dealership for service/install, but I live in Socal where there are plenty of shops to use.

Which dealer is this? I plan to call 2-3 dealers outside my area tomorrow, get quotes, and then call up the service dept that did mine and demand some compensation.
Uhh.. honestly i dont see why they would compensate you for something you agreed too.
Usually people make these threads before hand and ask about it rather than make the thread AFTER getting it done.
I was quoted around like 700 or something for 30k service and i thought THAT was a rip lol

You got buttraped and had a rusty spooned shoved up there multiple times.
That's how I would feel if I were forced to pay $1800. I'd just do that crap myself or if I couldn't then there's always plenty of shops around or people on this forum that could do it for you.
